Dan Burch has a very big sand box; luckily for us he has invited everyone to come play in it! If you like sand, you will love this race! If you don't like sand, well,,,,,,, it may be a long, tiring day. The course is 13.5 miles of fast, flowing and flat trails. This property features deep sand whoops, fast straights, some flowing woods, a few sand whoops through the woods and a few MX jumps with alternates scattered through the property. With all of the moisture we received in the past month, the sand is going to be in excellent condition!
The 1.2 mile pee-wee track is a mixture of fast open fields and tight woods. There are a couple roots to get through and one small log crossing, but no rocks to be found. There is some moisture in the ground and the dirt should be perfect for the race.
PLEASE BAG YOUR TRASH AND TAKE IT WITH YOU.
NO Campfires - This means no open flames on the ground, in a barrel, above the ground, etc. You may BBQ on a standard grill, but you need to watch it closely and extinguish it fully after you are done cooking. Propane heaters are fine. Anyone found to be violating this will be escorted from the property.
Thanks to Jacob Bailey for showing us around the Bonita Track!
