Welcome TORO Racers!
TORO is set to kick off its eighth season of winter racing in Texas with a seven race series starting in Bowie, Texas the weekend of November 1/2, 2008. Promoter Gary Vieth always puts together a challenging course where the combination of motocross, rocks and a few man-made challenges make for very entertaining racing! Next it is on to Crafton, Texas where the RFC Ministries flock will pull together to layout a course including some tricky rock ledge hills, sweeping woods, and interesting spectator points to cheer your hero! December's race will be BSGP in Denton; a VERY popular venue close to the city! The Storrie family combines tight tree sections with their grand prix style course - putting smiles on the faces of the racers, for sure!
2009 kicks off with a trip to the much loved Bonita on January 10/11 where the sand whoops grow like monsters! All net proceeds from the Bonita race (both promoter and sanctioning body) will be donated to the American Red Cross! January 24/25 is the TORO Staff date with all net proceeds going back into the club. February 7/8 belongs to the Red River Dirt Riders who always aim to please and don't disappoint! We finish up February 21/22 with Tom Robinson's new property, Honey Grove! Tom promises (with his signature grin) to trick it up TORO style for our final race of the season!
